Ok i have some questions: 1) the chipset driver i have to install is the one i can find on the dell website? (for windows vista) 2) after i have installed the driver, reboot, switch to AHCI then reboot again with the windows disc inside and do what? How do i repair the boot? 3) in my other laptop i have to fresh install windows 7 professional 64 bit, what file i have to load when it ask me to load drivers for AHCI? (i guess is not a.exe file) by the way now i'm running my os in IDE mode, not ATA thanks again.
